If you haven’t heard of Debra Romer, you probably will in the next year. Making her national-television debut on America’s Got Talent, Debra has been wowing audiences across the country for the last couple of weeks.

Looking to spice-up her web presence, she asked me to put together a quick web-banner for her website. I decided I’d help her out a bit further, so I put together a quick branding project for her.

Logo

Firstly, I started with the logo. I wanted to make something that was bold, but still showed elegance, a lot like her music. I think this combination captures that:

Next, I applied that idea to the originally requested web-banner. After looking through a few pics she had given me, I decided to go through some of my own to compliment it. I landed on these two images, and pulled the logo in for the final touch:

Debra recently joined twitter, so why stop at the website? A quick re-arrangment of the web-banner created a sharp twitter theme:
